The aim of this course is to familiarize the student in the placement and firing of charges at night while under night vision devices. After a tactical approach and placement drill, the student will be required to conduct follow up internal door charges using night vision aids.

Course content includes:

• Introduction to Night Vision Device’s
• Explosive breaching review
• Charge calculation review
• Charge and firing system construction
• Charge placement drills (two-man and one-man)
• Charge identification markers in low light / no light conditions
• External and internal charges
• Charge misfire drills
• Deployment of the Wolf Tracker Device (in visual and IR functions)

Equipment Requirements:

• Eye & ear protection
• Range training uniform (long sleeve)
• Gloves (recommended)
• Night Vision Device (mounted to helmet)
• Helmet
• AR15 / M4 mounted with IR pointer (if available)
• Knife
