John Nettles has over 30 years of experience as a member of the US Army Special Forces (The Green Berets) and originations within the US Government and the Private Security Industry.

John’s has worked in many high risk areas of the world from the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, Asia and South West Asia.

John’s Military assignments has been in multiple leadership positions as a Long-range Surveillance Team Leader in the first Gulf War to a Special Forces Team Sargent in charge of a Military Free Fall ODA for multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Additionally, he was also detailed to Other Government Agencies for the Counter Terrorist Pursuit Teams in Afghanistan. John has developed, managed, led and advised three separate indigenous counter-terrorism units in Afghanistan, Yemen and Iraq. Two of these units were their Nation’s Counter Terrorism Force.

John has been an adviser to multiple units within U.S. Special Operations Command and to the New Zealand Special Air Service (SAS). His roles included advising and training in all aspects of Special Operations from tactical to national level areas.

Currently John has been conducting Kidnap for Ransom services, recovering personnel from parts of Africa to Central and South America. He is also currently providing training services to US Special Operations units for Close Quarter Battle, Shooting, Sniper operations and planning.
