Trant Smith is a security specialist from Australia with over 20-years of experience in counter-terrorism and protective security, mostly in the Middle East/North Africa region. Trant established the United Nations Operational Skills and Tactics training portfolio (2011) including small team tactics, firearms, control and restraint, mobile, force and close protection. A member of the Special Operations Medical and National Tactical Officers Associations, Trant continues to be retained by the US Dept of State and UN Panel of Experts to provide a variety of ad-hoc operational support including high risk protection, austere medicine, counter assault and team leadership.
Trant attended his first TEES course in 2005 and has been involved as a consultant and adjunct instructor ever since.
